Karen Dale is the Chief Executive Officer at AmeriHealth Caritas DC. Since taking office in 2013, Dale has spearheaded a variety of initiatives and programs designed to improve the District’s Hispanic residents’ access to health benefits and services. She has also been instrumental in driving AmeriHealth Caritas’ philanthropic support for those community organizations and agencies working to address the critical challenges and adverse social determinants faced by many members of the Hispanic community. Under her leadership, AmeriHealth has provided and will continue to provide sponsorship and hands-on support to key organizations serving the Hispanic community including but not limited to: Ayuda, Mary’s Center, La Clinica Del Pueblo, the Latin American Youth Center, Shrine of the Sacred Heart and the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
