Joseph Leitmann-Santa Cruz is the Acting Executive Director of the Washington, D.C.-based non-profit organization Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB). As the Manager of the DC Ahorra y Prospera Campaign as well as the DC EITC Campaign, Leitmann-Santa Cruz has ensured that all members of the Latinx community in Washington, D.C. -with or without proper immigration status- have access to information in English and Spanish on how to achieve personal financial wellness, fair shot at financial stability and prosperity as well as actionable steps on how to buy a first time home, launch a small business, file taxes for free, open a bank account, and establish and improve credit history and credit score.

Como gerente de las campaña “DC Ahorra y Prospera” y “EITC de DC”, Leitmann-Santa Cruz se ha asegurado de que todos los latinos en D.C., con o sin el estado de inmigración adecuado, tengan acceso a la información en inglés y español sobre cómo lograr un bienestar financiero personal, una oportunidad justa de estabilidad y prosperidad económica, así como pasos prácticos sobre cómo comprar una casa por primera vez, lanzar una pequeña empresa, presentar impuestos de forma gratuita, abrir una cuenta bancaria, y establecer y mejorar el historial/puntaje de crédito.
