El Departamento de Transporte de DC colocará 29 nuevas cámaras de velocidad para controlar que los automovilistas no excedan los límites permitidos.
Las cámaras se colocarán a lo largo de tramos de carreteras principales, como las avenidas Florida, Rhode Island y Nueva York, entre otras.
Las ubicaciones fueron seleccionadas en relación a la cantidad de siniestros de tránsito reportados, informó WTOP.

Una vez que los infractores sean captados por las cámaras recibirán advertencias durante 30 días. Una vez finalizado ese período, serán multados.
Las tarifas oscilarán entre $100 y $500, dependiendo de la velocidad.
